Basketball Recap: Blue Earth Comes Up Short

Blue Earth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 51-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Clair Cyclones. The Buccaneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cyclones apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.

Blue Earth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Clair, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

When Blue Earth and St. Clair next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Blue Earth will try to stop Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center]'s five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Clair will challenge Belle Plaine and their three-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
