Softball Recap: Gooding Comes Up Short

Gooding lost against Kimberly last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Senators took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gooding saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kodi Garza, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Gooding's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Kimberly, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-2-1.

As of now, neither Gooding nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
