Westlake Academy suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Westlake Academy Blacksmiths vs. Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers
The Westlake Academy Blacksmiths lost against the Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Westlake Academy suffered a tough 73-49 defeat at the hands of Chisholm Trail Academy. It was the first time this season that Westlake Academy let down their fans at home.
Tony Planells continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Chisholm Trail Academy, scoring 34 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The matchup was Planells' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Hopps, who scored 19 points along with 3 steals.
Westlake Academy bumped their record down to 4-3 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Chisholm Trail Academy, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westlake Academy will challenge Harvest Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chisholm Trail Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Yavneh Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
