Baseball Recap: Brownsville Comes Up Short

Brownsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the California Trojans. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Brownsville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for California, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brownsville will square off against Uniontown at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons are facing the Red Raiders at the right time seeing as the Red Raiders are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for California, they will face off against Chartiers-Houston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
