Basketball Recap: Horton Comes Up Short

Horton was the 55-35 winner over Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Horton Chargers fell just short of the Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones by a score of 52-50 on Wednesday.

Horton's loss dropped their record down to 9-2-1. As for Riverside [Wathena/Elwood], their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

While Horton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
