Soccer Recap: Jonesville Takes a Loss

Jonesville lost against Leslie back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Comets came up short against the Blackhawks, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Jonesville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 355th, while Leslie are ranked 109th).

Jonesville's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-2. As for Leslie, their win bumped their record up to 9-2-2.

Coincidentally, Jonesville and Leslie will both be playing Columbia Central the next time they take the pitch. The Comets will head out to face the Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blackhawks will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
