Recap: Riggs Governors vs. Brandon Valley Lynx
It was a good run, but the Riggs Governors unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brandon Valley. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Riggs in their matchups with Brandon Valley: they've now lost six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brandon Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kennedi Deckert, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Paisley Hoff, who scored five points.
Riggs' loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3. As for Brandon Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Aberdeen Central the next time they take the court. Brandon Valley will head out to face Aberdeen Central at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Riggs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
