Basketball Recap: Brownfield Comes Up Short

Brownfield lost against Denver City back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Brownfield Cubs might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Denver City Mustangs an easy 63-39 victory. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brownfield's record now sits at 3-13. As for Denver City, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10.

Brownfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-23 victory against Compass Academy on the 20th. As for Denver City, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wink at 11:00 a.m. on December 31st.
