Knoxville Catholic is a perfect 4-0 against Farragut since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Fighting Irish will face off against the Admirals at 7:00 p.m. Knoxville Catholic is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Knoxville Catholic will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Halls on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 6-4. It was an even better day for Jack Tucker as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Farragut had just enough and edged out William Blount 2-1 on Tuesday. Given Farragut's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 14th, while William Blount are ranked 195th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Farragut pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Knoxville Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Everything went Knoxville Catholic's way against Farragut when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Knoxville Catholic made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Irish since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
