Christian Brothers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Gateway Legacy Christian Academy Lions 4-3. The Cadets haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Brady Rallo looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, GT Taylor was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple.

Gateway Legacy Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Christian Brothers and Gateway Legacy Christian Academy will both be playing St. Dominic the next time they take the field. Christian Brothers will head out to face St. Dominic at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Gateway Legacy Christian Academy will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
