Football Game Preview: Tuttle Tigers vs. Elgin Owls + How To Watch

The Tuttle Tigers will take on the Elgin Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Tuttle is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Broken Bow 49-28. The victory was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.

Tuttle had a senior duo take command as Shawn Rounsaville Jr rushed for 108 yards and four scores on only 15 carries and Cruz Campbell threw for 199 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 18 passes. A healthy portion of Campbell's aerial production (82 yards to be exact) went to Jalen Lane, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Elgin was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Cushing 52-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Owls' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Tigers are ranked 26th).

Tuttle better keep an eye on Ritson Meyer. He was instrumental in Elgin's win, rushing for 97 yards and four TDs. Another player making a difference was Gage Elam, who rushed for 142 yards on only 14 carries.

Elgin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 340 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cushing only rushed for 49.

Elgin's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Tuttle, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 13-0.

Tuttle came up short against Elgin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 29-22. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
