Baseball Recap: Amsterdam Comes Up Short

Amsterdam was the 7-6 winner over Scotia-Glenville when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Tartans by a score of 5-4 on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Amsterdam's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Scotia-Glenville, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Amsterdam will square off against rival South Glens Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Scotia-Glenville is set to challenge their familiar foe Hudson Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
