Volleyball Recap: Mclane Extends Winning Streak to Four

McLane waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Roosevelt Rough Riders 3-0. The Highlanders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 18th.

While McLane won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-21.

McLane pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McLane will challenge Sanger West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Hoover at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Roosevelt is facing Hoover at the right time seeing as Hoover is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
