Softball Recap: Hurricane Comes Up Short

Hurricane blew Union out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Union got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 15th.

This is the second loss in a row for Hurricane and nudges their season record down to 11-16. As for Union, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hurricane and Union will both be playing Payson the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
