Football Recap: Southridge Suns vs. Richland Bombers
Southridge lost against Richland back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Suns took a 27-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bombers. The Suns were up 19-0 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
Despite the loss, Southridge still got an impressive performance from Koven Burke, who picked up 155 receiving yards and three scores. Burke got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 96 yards. Another player making a difference was Coppin Hunkapillar, who threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns on only eight passes.
