Volleyball Preview: Prospect Panthers vs. Del Mar Dons
Prospect and Del Mar are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2014, but not for long. The Prospect Panthers will take on the Del Mar Dons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prospect will be strutting in after a win while Del Mar will be coming in after a defeat.

Prospect was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.
Meanwhile, Del Mar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Willow Glen. While the Dons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 25-16 in the first period.
Del Mar started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-17.
Prospect's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Del Mar, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
Prospect took their victory against Del Mar in their previous meeting back in October of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Prospect since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
