Softball Recap: Morgan Trojans vs. Grantsville Cowboys
Morgan entered their matchup against Grantsville on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Trojans fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 7-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-7 back in March.
Eva Birkeland spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.
