Basketball Recap: Veritas Christian Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Amya Cuddon and Madelyn Seifert

Veritas Christian Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 38-27 to the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers on Monday. The match marked Veritas Christian Academy's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Veritas Christian Academy had strong showings from Madelyn Seifert, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards, and Amya Cuddon, who posted seven points and eight rebounds. Seifert has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last ten times she's played.

Veritas Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Academy of St. Elizabeth, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5.
