Softball Recap: Lake Mead Academy Eagles vs. Awaken Christian Lions

Lake Mead Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 21-13 to the Awaken Christian Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lake Mead Academy of the 9-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Friday.

Gabrielle Narvaez stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Gracie Rhodes, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.
