Recap: Hannan Wildcats vs. St. Joseph Central Irish
This season hasn't been kind to The Hannan Wildcats, who are still winless after their fourth game. They were dealt a 81-6 defeat at the hands of St. Joseph Central on Friday. Hannan was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 62-6.
Colin Woelfel was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Woelfel's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Bryant, who rushed for 17 yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was St. Joseph Central's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Nymir Bryant and his 2.5 sacks.
Hannan's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Joseph Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Hannan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Joseph Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
