Baseball Recap: Corvallis Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Corvallis couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 6-3 to the Thurston Colts on Friday. It was the first time this season that the Spartans let down their fans at home.

Corvallis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Badger, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Corvallis' loss dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Thurston, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-10.

As of now, neither Corvallis nor the Colts have any future games scheduled.
