After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hartsville, Crestwood was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Wilson Tigers a 2-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for Crestwood: when they faced off against Wilson back in March, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Zadra Palumbo and Fernanda Ramirez-Teliz scored both of Crestwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Crestwood's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Wilson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
