Softball Recap: Marlboro Comes Up Short

Marlboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the St. John-Vianney Lancers. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

Marlboro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. John-Vianney, the win (which was their 25th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Marlboro has already played their next game (against Monroe Township), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. John-Vianney also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Red Bank Regional.
