Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Comes Up Short

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers lost against Fort Wayne Snider back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Panthers.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-14.

Vahsti Garcia paced Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' offense, picking up six kills. Garcia got some help from Kayla DeFluiter and her seven assists. DeFluiter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Fort Wayne Snider got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Denny-Lynn Dunton out in front who had 17 digs and two assists. Dunton is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Avery Arens was another key player, getting eight digs and one assist.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Fort Wayne Snider, their win bumped their record up to 14-18.
