Basketball Recap: The Fletcher School Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

The Fletcher School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 37-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-13 back in November.

It was another big night for Infiniti Green, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds for Sugar Creek Charter. Green has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Eriyana Anthony, who posted nine points.

The Fletcher School's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-4. As for Sugar Creek Charter, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

The Fletcher School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-30 loss against Covenant Classical on the 10th. As for Sugar Creek Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 win against Carolina Christian on the 10th.
