Basketball Recap: West Tallahatchie Starts off Right with Win over Coahoma County + How To Watch

West Tallahatchie had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Coahoma County Red Panthers by a score of 28-17. This was payback for the Choctaws, who suffered a 37-17 defeat the last time these two teams met.

West Tallahatchie can attribute much of their success to Kydresha Washington, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 14 points and five steals. The last time Washington's field goal percentage was this high was back in November of 2024.
