Volleyball Recap: Punahou Find Success

Punahou saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Stratford Elks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buff n' Blue.

Kealoha Cox paced Punahou's offense, picking up seven kills. Cox were helped by Makenna Mello and Kennedy Lee, who contributed seven assists each. Camryn Shigemasa and True Takemoto kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Punahou's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Punahou wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against JSerra Catholic on the 14th. As for Stratford, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Cypress Woods at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
