Basketball Recap: Madison Central Takes a Loss

Madison Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 55-40 to the Clinton Arrows. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-37 back in January.

Jatoi Johnson went supernova for Clinton, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, Johnson is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Grace Eatmon, who went 5 of 8 en route to 10 points and eight boards.

Madison Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Clinton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-7.

As of now, neither Madison Central nor Clinton have any future games scheduled.
