Football Recap: Thunder Basin Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Campbell County + How To Watch

Thunder Basin faced Campbell County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bolts fell just short of the Camels by a score of 17-14. The Bolts gained 119 more yards on the day, but it was the Camels that made the best use of them.

Despite the loss, Thunder Basin saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Xander Helsley picked up 90 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 36 yards.

Thunder Basin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Campbell County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Meanwhile, Campbell County is set to take on their familiar foe Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
