Basketball Recap: Goodwell Takes a Loss

The matchup between Goodwell and Balko on Friday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Goodwell Eagles were beaten by the Balko Bison 76-35. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Bison are ranked 110th).

Goodwell has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-14-1 record this season. As for Balko, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4-2.

Goodwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Balko, they have already played their next matchup, a 46-34 defeat against Boise City on the 15th.
