Penfield came tearing into Saturday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Victor Blue Devils as they made off with a 13-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Clare Magee spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Alexi Cimino, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Megan Clark, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Penfield hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in eight consecutive contests.

Penfield's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Victor, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

As of now, neither Penfield nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
