Basketball Recap: Trimble County Comes Up Short

Trimble County lost against Carroll County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trimble County Raiders took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carroll County Panthers.

Trimble County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Carroll County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Trimble County is taking a road trip to face off against Eminence at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Eminence knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Trimble County likes a good challenge. As for Carroll County, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Carroll County Panthers challenge the Henry County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Henry County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Carroll County surely won't give up without a fight.
