Baseball Preview: South Hills Huskies vs. Los Altos Conquerors
For the second straight game, South Hills will face off against Los Altos. The Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Conquerors at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Hills has four straight wins, Los Altos has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
South Hills barely beat Los Altos the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies' pitcher stepped up to hand the Conquerors a 7-0 shutout on Wednesday.
Los Altos' batters probably weren't too happy with Joseph Moreno, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (he gave up four walks). Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Moreno.
