Cedar Ridge strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Seaforth Hawks by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20, 23-25, 25-17.

Dani Solomon paced Cedar Ridge's offense, picking up 14 kills. Solomon got some help from Mia Marty and her 40 assists. Solomon and Marty didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Despite the defeat, Seaforth saw an underclassman step up: freshman Isabelle Valgus had 25 digs and one assist. Those 25 digs set a new season-high mark for Valgus.

Cedar Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Seaforth, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Cedar Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Grimsley on the 24th. As for Seaforth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Durham School of the Arts on the 25th.
