Basketball Recap: Casen Knight's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hagerman over Lapwai

Hagerman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 57-44 to the Lapwai Wildcats.

Hagerman lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Casen Knight, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Martin Gonzalez, who had 11 points and six rebounds.

Hagerman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lapwai, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hagerman will welcome Glenns Ferry at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lapwai, they will host Troy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
