Volleyball Recap: Muscle Shoals Takes a Loss

Muscle Shoals lost against Huntsville back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Panthers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18.

Janiyah Oates paced Muscle Shoals' offense, picking up six kills. Oates got some help from Olivia Chapman and her 15 assists.

Muscle Shoals now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Huntsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-8 record this season.

Muscle Shoals wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Madison Academy on the 11th. As for Huntsville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Austin on the 11th.
