Softball Game Preview: Corry Beavers vs. Fairview Tigers

Corry is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Fairview is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Beavers will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Corry's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four matches.

If Corry beats Fairview with 20 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Beavers put the hurt on Conneaut Area with a sharp 20-5 victory on Thursday. The Beavers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 12 runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Fairview was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged out North East 5-4. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Grape Pickers: they've now won seven in a row.

Fairview now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Corry, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
