Basketball Recap: Palacios Comes Up Short

Palacios lost against Hallettsville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Palacios Sharks took a 55-39 bruising from the Hallettsville Brahmas. The Sharks' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Palacios' record is now 13-12. As for Hallettsville, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palacios will square off against Industrial at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Palacios has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Hallettsville, they will challenge Rice Consolidated at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
