After flying high against Dayspring Christian Academy last Friday, Haxtun came back down to earth. The Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weldon Valley Warriors on Tuesday. The Fightin' Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
Haxtun started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-31, 29-27, 25-23, 25-21.

Haxtun's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Weldon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.
