Baseball Recap: Roane County Raiders vs. Braxton County Eagles
Roane County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of the Braxton County Eagles by a score of 14-13. Roane County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Braxton County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April.
For Braxton County's part, Seth Warner was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Mathew Miller was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
Roane County's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Braxton County, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.
As of now, neither Roane County nor Braxton County have any future games scheduled.
