Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain View). They breezed by the Corona del Sol Aztecs to the tune of 77-40 on Wednesday. Given the Toros' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Aztecs are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Corona del Sol, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will welcome Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Corona del Sol, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Brophy College Prep at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Brophy College Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
