Softball Recap: Flomaton Takes a Loss

Flomaton fell victim to Cottage Hill Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 12-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Hurricanes were not able to get on the board.

Flomaton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Flomaton will challenge Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.46 runs per game on average), something the Hurricanes will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, they will take on Elberta at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
