Basketball Recap: Odin/Patoka Victorious

Odin/Patoka won the last time they faced Mulberry Grove and things went their way on Tuesday too. Odin/Patoka walked away with a 57-49 win over the Mulberry Grove Aces. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Odin/Patoka.

Despite the loss, Mulberry Grove still got an impressive performance from Jackson Icenogle, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 22 points along with six boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Icenogle a new career-high in blocks (two). Landon Sugg was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight rebounds.

Odin/Patoka's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mulberry Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Odin/Patoka will face off against Red Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Red Hill will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Odin/Patoka surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mulberry Grove, they will challenge Father McGivney Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mulberry Grove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.
