Soccer Recap: Glenpool Comes Up Short

Glenpool managed to keep up with Skiatook until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-1. Glenpool were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Skiatook apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Glenpool has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Skiatook, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Glenpool will take on Summit Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skiatook, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Holland Hall at 5:30 p.m. Holland Hall will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Skiatook surely won't give up without a fight.
