Softball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington blew Cortez out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Cortez got their revenge. The Rams fell just short of the Colts by a score of 12-10. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cortez, their record is now 3-7.

Washington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-7 defeat against Copper Canyon on the 7th. As for Cortez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 26-9 win against Desert Sunrise on the 8th.
