Volleyball Recap: Colonial Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Colonial Christian can now relate to. They fell just short of the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Despite the loss, Colonial Christian still got an impressive performance from Janthony Victoria, who had three digs, three aces, and one block. Victoria is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 13 every time he's taken the court this season.

Colonial Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Colonial Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they will face off against Somerset Academy South Homestead at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hurricanes will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Stallions surely won't give up without a fight.
