Softball Recap: Hillsboro Victorious

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Hillsboro ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs by a score of 9-6. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Hillsboro now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hillsboro will square off against rival Parkrose at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts is set to face off against their familiar foe Hood River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
