Volleyball Game Preview: Ridge Community Bolts vs. Dr. Phillips Panthers

The Ridge Community Bolts will head out to face off against the Dr. Phillips Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ridge Community took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Lakeland by a score of 3-1.

Ridge Community had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-20, 25-11, 25-22.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Dr. Phillips faced off against University on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cougars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Dr. Phillips walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 21-25, 25-20.

Dr. Phillips pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ridge Community, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
