Basketball Recap: Enumclaw Takes a Loss

If Enumclaw was feeling good fresh off their 70-47 takedown of River Ridge last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Enumclaw Hornets and the Bellarmine Prep Lions didn't end well, with the Enumclaw Hornets falling 72-54. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Lions are ranked 35th).

Enumclaw's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Bellarmine Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Enumclaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bellarmine Prep, they will take on Silas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Silas has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
