Soccer Recap: Lexington vs. Kearney
Lexington faced Kearney in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bearcats who were credited with the victory. The Kearney Bearcats got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Lexington Minutemen's three. Lexington were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kearney apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.
Lexington's goal came courtesy of Edin Lima Miranda, which was the first he's scored this season.
